Why We’re Here

Yesterday, America stood as the land of promise: the American Dream gave people from around the world hope for a brighter tomorrow. Lady Liberty beckons to the world Give us your tired, Give us your Poor. Families believed in the opportunity, the justice, and the chance to build something lasting.

Today, too many awaken to what feels like the emptiness of nothing. Dreams are fading, and the weight of social injustice has silenced too many voices. The Constitution reminds us that “We the People” are tasked with forming a more perfect Union. That Union cannot exist if we remain idle. Because if we don’t stand for something, we will fall for anything. The dreams of our forefathers will be like wax melting from the heat of the candle flames.

Freedom Always Matters because only by remembering our past can we see the direction of our future. Unity, justice, and courage are not optional; they are essential.

Patrick Henry once declared:

“Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take, but as for me, give me liberty, or give me death!”

And in the words of an insightful man, Ali Velchi, who stated on his show:

“Sometimes you just have to break the china.”

This is not just a moment.

It is a movement.
